Living and working in the South West means Ultrabeam are very familiar with these two bridges.
So when our surveyors were working in the area, they decided to use the bridges as a laser calibration site.
The merged point cloud of the calibration lines shows the accuracy in the laser, inertial nav system and calibration values.
The multibeam sonar and laser data was acquired from our fantastic survey vessel Artemis of Penzance.
